This Privacy Policy describes the policies and procedures of LangQuang Digital (LQ Analytics) on the collection, use, and disclosure of Your information when You use our Service — including the Facebook Ads Analytics Connector for Data Studio — and tells You about Your privacy rights and how the law protects You.

Interpretation and Definitions
Definitions
- Company (referred to as "We", "Us" or "Our") refers to LangQuang Digital (LQ Analytics), Brisbane, Australia.
- Connector refers to the Facebook Ads Analytics Data Studio Connector developed and maintained by LQ Analytics.
- Service refers to the Connector and the website at https://lqanalytics.com/.
- Personal Data is any information that relates to an identified or identifiable individual.
- OAuth Token refers to the access token issued by Facebook (Meta) upon authorization, used to retrieve ad data on your behalf.
- Usage Data refers to data collected automatically when using the Service.
- You means the individual accessing or using the Service.
Facebook Ads Connector — Data Practices
What Data the Connector Accesses
When you authorize the Connector with your Facebook account, it requests the following OAuth 2.0 scopes from the Facebook Marketing API (v22.0):
- ads_read — to read ad performance data (impressions, clicks, spend, reach, conversions, video metrics, etc.)
- ads_management — to enumerate your Business Portfolios and Ad Accounts so you can select which account to connect
- business_management — to list the Business Manager accounts associated with your Facebook profile
All access is read-only. The Connector cannot create, edit, pause, or delete any campaigns, ad sets, ads, or budgets in your Facebook Ads account.
What Data Is Stored
The Connector stores the following, and only the following, on your behalf:
- OAuth Access Token — Your Facebook access token is stored securely in Google Apps Script's
UserPropertiesservice, which is scoped to your individual Google account. It is never stored on LQ Analytics servers. - No ad performance data is stored — Campaign names, impressions, spend, conversions, and all other Facebook Ads metrics are fetched on demand when Data Studio requests a data refresh and are passed directly to Data Studio. We do not cache, log, or retain this data on our infrastructure.
How the OAuth Token Is Used
The stored OAuth token is used solely to authenticate requests to the Facebook Marketing API on your behalf when Data Studio fetches data. It is not shared with any third party, not used for any purpose other than data retrieval, and not accessible to LQ Analytics staff.
How to Revoke Access
You can revoke the Connector's access to your Facebook account at any time by:
- Going to Facebook Settings → Security and Login → Apps and Websites and removing the LQ Analytics app, or
- Re-opening the data source in Data Studio and clicking Revoke Access in the connector settings
Revoking access will immediately invalidate the stored token and prevent any further data retrieval.
No Account Registration Required
You do not need to create an account with LQ Analytics to use the Connector. No email address, name, or personal information is collected from you by LQ Analytics during the connector setup or usage.
Website Data Collection
Usage Data
When you visit lqanalytics.com, we may automatically collect Usage Data such as your device's IP address, browser type, pages visited, and time spent on pages. This is collected via Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics for the purpose of improving our website.
Cookies
We use cookies and similar tracking technologies to analyze website traffic and improve user experience. You can refuse cookies via your browser settings. Note that cookies are only used on the lqanalytics.com website — the Data Studio Connector itself does not use cookies.
Use of Your Personal Data
LQ Analytics uses data only to:
- Provide and maintain the Connector service
- Retrieve Facebook Ads data on your behalf and pass it to Data Studio
- Analyze website traffic to improve our website (via Google Analytics)
- Respond to support enquiries sent to our email
We do not sell, share, rent, or trade your data with third parties for marketing purposes.
Retention of Your Personal Data
The OAuth access token stored by the Connector persists in Google's UserProperties until you revoke access or reset authorization. LQ Analytics does not independently store or retain any personal data beyond what is described in this policy. Website analytics data is retained according to Google Analytics' standard retention settings.
Security of Your Personal Data
OAuth tokens are stored within Google's infrastructure (Apps Script UserProperties), which is secured by Google. LQ Analytics does not handle or transmit your token outside of the Google Apps Script environment. No ad performance data is ever transmitted to or stored on LQ Analytics servers.
Third-Party Services
The Connector interacts with the following third-party services:
- Facebook (Meta) Marketing API — to retrieve your ad performance data. Subject to Meta's Privacy Policy.
- Google Data Studio / Looker Studio — the reporting platform where your data is visualized. Subject to Google's Privacy Policy.
- Google Apps Script — the platform that runs the Connector code and securely stores your OAuth token.
- Google Tag Manager / Google Analytics — used on lqanalytics.com website only, not within the Connector.
Children's Privacy
Our Service does not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under this age.
Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
