Welcome to LQ Analytics. These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of our services, including the Facebook Ads Analytics Connector for Data Studio ("Connector") and the website at lqanalytics.com. By using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Connector or our website, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

2. Description of Service

LQ Analytics provides the Facebook Ads Analytics Connector, a community connector for Google Data Studio (also known as Looker Studio) that allows users to import Facebook Ads performance data directly into Data Studio for the purpose of building custom reports and dashboards.

The Connector is developed and maintained by LangQuang Digital (LQ Analytics), based in Brisbane, Australia.

3. Use of the Connector

This section specifically covers the Facebook Ads Analytics Connector for Data Studio — what it does, what it accesses, and the conditions of use.

What the Connector Does

The Connector authenticates with your Facebook account via OAuth 2.0 and fetches ad performance data from the Facebook Marketing API (v22.0) on your behalf. This data is passed directly to Data Studio for visualization. The Connector operates at the ad, ad set, and campaign level and supports 60+ metrics and dimensions including impressions, clicks, spend, reach, video analytics, cost-per-action breakdowns, and demographic data.

What the Connector Does Not Do

No Account Required

You do not need to create an LQ Analytics account to use the Connector. No registration, subscription, or payment is required. The Connector is provided free of charge.

4. OAuth Authorization and Permissions

To use the Connector, you must authorize it with your Facebook account. By doing so, you grant the Connector the following read-only OAuth 2.0 permissions:

All permissions are read-only. You agree to grant only the permissions necessary for the Connector to function. You may revoke these permissions at any time via Facebook Settings → Security and Login → Apps and Websites, or via the Data Studio data source settings.

Token Storage

Your Facebook OAuth access token is stored securely in Google Apps Script's UserProperties service, scoped to your individual Google account. It is not stored on LQ Analytics servers and is not accessible to LQ Analytics staff. The token is used solely to authenticate API requests to Facebook on your behalf when Data Studio refreshes data.

5. Data Access and No Storage Policy

LQ Analytics does not store, log, cache, or retain any Facebook Ads performance data (campaign names, impressions, spend, conversions, or any other metrics) on its own infrastructure. All ad data fetched from the Facebook Marketing API is returned directly to Data Studio in real time and is not retained by the Connector beyond the duration of the API request.

You are responsible for the data that is displayed within your Data Studio reports and dashboards. LQ Analytics is not responsible for how you use, share, or distribute reports created using the Connector.

6. User Responsibilities

7. Compliance with Facebook Platform Policy

Your use of the Connector is subject to Facebook's Platform Policy and Facebook's Terms of Service. LQ Analytics is an independent developer and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Meta Platforms, Inc.

LQ Analytics reserves the right to suspend or discontinue the Connector if required to comply with Facebook's developer policies or if Facebook's API changes make continued operation impractical.

8. Service Availability

We strive to maintain continuous availability of the Connector but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. The Connector depends on the availability of the Facebook Marketing API and Google Data Studio, both of which are operated by third parties outside our control. Scheduled maintenance, API changes, or third-party outages may cause temporary unavailability.

9. Limitations of Liability

The Connector is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied. LQ Analytics is not liable for:

10. Privacy

Your use of the Connector is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. The Privacy Policy describes in detail how OAuth tokens are stored, what data is accessed, what is not stored, and how you can revoke access.

11. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Changes will be reflected by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Connector after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
